Service Description

Due to the complexity of our program and our ever growing waitlist, we want your first experience to be built around your introduction to the farm and getting a sense of your experience and comfort. Hannah has been teaching for 16 years and has a large background in trauma informed teaching and youth with different needs. If you are not of special needs or are newer to riding, feel free to schedule and do your on-boarding with Dawn, who will transfer you to Hannah after your evaluation. Time includes grooming and tacking up unless skilled enough to be invited to come early. A private lesson is 60 minutes of hands-on time with the head instructor, working on a combo of life skills, fitness, and horsemanship. More time is spent on riding as student progresses. Private lessons can involve other riders if needed, but charge is per rider per session. Private riding lesson means 100% of the instruction is for a single student.

Cancellation Policy

No reschedules makeups outside the discretion of the instructor. YOUR PAYMENT HOLDS YOUR PLACE- it doesn't promise a lesson every week, if you cannot make your scheduled time there maybe nowhere else to put you. You are able to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance, but no more than a month ahead. I will post on Facebook when it is updated. Our rates are based off a 42 week calendar, with holidays and vacations considered. You are entitled to 1 makeup a month IF scheduling allows, lesson may have to be forfeited based on availability. Packages do not rollover. Students cannot miss more than 20% of lessons routinely, students canceling within 24 hours for private and no makeup is given regardless of circumstances. Group students can plug in as room allows. You are responsible for paying to hold your spot and rescheduling yourself. Emergencies are at instructors' discretion, full policy will be sent to your email in a welcome letter.
