Service Description

At Surefire Horsemanship, our beginner horse camp is designed for curious and horse-crazy kids aged 6-14. With a maximum of 5 students per session, we create an intimate, supportive environment where they can learn unique horsemanship skills through fun games and activities. We pride ourselves on being an eclectic, diverse riding center that welcomes everyone, helping young riders build confidence while exploring the joy of working with horses. We provide snacks, water and juice but we do ask that students pack their own lunch too if they'd like a meal. We usually do pizza on the last day.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel before 60 days of the camp date, you will be refunded minus processing fees. Within 60 days but more than 15 days away you can receive 50% refund, within 15 days of camp start date no refund maybe provided. Drop in camps are charged at time of booking, and are schedule 3-4 hours on some Sundays, Mondays and Fridays throughout the year. We appreciate your understanding how difficult planning can be with farm management, weather and animal care staffing. We have a heated office, hot cocoa, and for those allowed -coffee. Water and popsicles during summer. If the windchill causes the temperature to feel less than 15F, you maybe offered a lesson in exchange, at a later date, or a partial refund for camp, or an equal credit towards spring camp. Any reason we need to cancel will result in a credit or refund if it is decided by the instructor to cancel. During winter, we suggest layers, wool or wool blend socks, good boots or well insulated shoes that will get dirty, sweatshirt, hoodie and waterproof overalls if possible. This is a camp that takes place mostly in an outdoor (but sheltered) environment. Please send hand warmers, pack MULTIPLE layers, something moisture wicking. In summer, cooling clothes, bottles of water (we'll have some too, but their own are better) quick shelf stable snacks and allergy meds if they need them. Children participating must have some sort of boot with a heel, hiking , riding or similar for safety reasons. Don't drop off campers more than 5 minutes ahead of start time/drop off time listed, as I may be running errands or wrapping up chores. Please pickup campers by the absolute final pickup time as we will have lessons starting and campers cannot be supervised later than the agreed time. You will be sent a liability form that must be completed to participate.
